:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

This film shows the revolutionary changes that Anna Halprin made in the realm of dance as seen by numerous excerpts of her performances in nature: in the streets of Paris, in the woods and on the beaches of San Francisco where this pioneer of Post Modern Dance, still lives and works. This contemporary and friend of Merce Cunningham cleared the way for performance art, which continues to develop around the world today. This is also a portrait of her work with people afflicted with cancer or AIDS, and with the elderly, to whom she restores the pleasure of dancing despite their failing bodies… This film is a testimony to her commitment and unflinching
Jacqueline Caux
